Oikos Patents

The company's innovative vitality is embodied by an over thirty-year journey during which Oikos has developed some of the most important hinge patents. The Project collection includes armoured doors with thermal break frames first produced in 2015; the Nova line presented the first fully glazed armoured door in 2017.

Security doors and Innovation

Oikos is a leading advocate of Made in Italy in home design. During last 15 years, Oikos launched a series of important new safety products in the window and door sector. The Synua line was born in 2005, followed the next year by the Synua Wall System, an integrated security door-wall system.

Then, in 2007, after collaborating with designers Adriani&Rossi, the Tekno collection came out, and in the next two years, the Evolution and Vela lines were produced. The success of Oikos Venezia was consecrated by several prestigious international awards such as the Compasso D'Oro ADI 2011 Honourable Mention for Synua Vela.

Over the years, the company has participated in numerous exhibitions and conferences around the world. Synua Collection

Synua is the safety door that knows no limits: ideal for large sizes, it is the perfect combination of technology and design. Equipped with pivoting opening, and coplanar with the wall, it is covered by sectors or by a single panel or by a solution upon customer drawing and can reach up to 3000 mm of width and 6200 mm of height in its standard versions. Upon request, it can feature even larger dimensions.
